Lynn Grimm - Senior Editor

Lynn (Clarinda) Grimm is a senior editor at Testing and Evaluation Services and the UW Center for Placement Testing. She received her B.S. in art and her M.F.A. from UW-Madison.   She has been employed full time with the University since 1978.  Lynn has also been teaching art metals at MATC since 1978.

Her responsibilities at Testing and Evaluation Services and the UW Center for Placement Testing include:

• designs and composes all the UW System placement tests using desktop publishing software and schedules their production and printing as well as other contract testing programs run by the department,
• maintains item library for all UW placement tests,
• designs and composes custom optical scan forms/booklets and schedules their production and printing,
• consults with customers regarding the appropriateness of forms for data collection for research and testing purposes,
• develops the bid proposal for the optical scanning forms contract for the State of Wisconsin,
• prepares alternate proposals, bid specifications, and cost estimates,
• shipping and receiving
